To add a link to WedSeek, copy the following html code into your web page, changing the text shown in green so that it corresponds with the name of the image that you wish to use. <a href="http://www.wedseek.co.uk"><img
If you do not make any changes to the html code, the image that you choose will download from our server. However, if you save the image and upload it to your own server it will download faster. To do this, right-click on the image, and select "Save Picture As..." (Internet Explorer) or "Save Image As..." (Netscape). If you are using a MAC, hold down your mouse button until you see the same options. Once you have uploaded the image you will need to change the part of the code that begins <img src="http:// so that it references the new location of the image on your server. 2. Using the WedSeek search engine To enable your visitors to perform keyword searches of the WedSeek Directory, copy and paste the following html code into your web page. <form method="GET" 3. Linking to a specific WedSeek category If you would like to enable your visitors to search for web sites that offer a specific type of wedding service, why not provide them with a link to a WedSeek Category? The code below links to the category 'Catering & Marquees', so after you have pasted it into your web page you may need to alter the text shown in green so that the link references the correct category. You will also need to make sure that the code is on just one line of your html document and that there are no character spaces between the inverted commas. Example: Catering & Marquees <a href="http://www.wedseek.co.uk/cgi-bin/ Here are the number codes for the twelve main WedSeek Categories:
You can of course link to as many WedSeek Categories as you like, using the appropriate category names and number codes. For a full list of the WedSeek Categories and their associated codes, please have a look at the Category Number Codes.
To place the above graphic in front of your category link, add the following code to the html that you already have: <img src="http://www.wedseek.co.uk/images/links/cat_orange.gif" width=105 height=17 align=texttop border=0> Please feel free to save the image and upload it to your own server. Right-click on the image, and select "Save Picture As..." (Internet Explorer) or "Save Image As..." (Netscape). If you are using a MAC, hold down your mouse button until you see the same options. Once you have uploaded the image you will need to change the html code slightly so that it references its new location. | |||||||||||||
