| General Information When submitting details of your web site, please observe the following points:
- Your site must offer wedding services to residents of the UK.
- Please submit ONE page only from your web site.
- Do not submit a site if it is "under construction".
- Do not use html tags.
- Do not supply inappropriate keywords or select categories or regions which do not apply to you.
- In the interests of our users, all submitted web sites are visited before being indexed.
- The WedSeek Directory reserves the right to edit the information that is submitted.
Web site URL The URL that you provide for your listing will probably look something like this:
http://www.wedseek.co.uk
However, it can also reference a folder or a specific page on your web site.
Title of site
The title can be up to 50 characters long and it should correspond with the one on your web page, or the name of your business. This information is compulsory as it is used to provide a link to your web site.
Description Please supply a sentence or two describing your business and your web site. We recommend that you give an indication of the area of the country that your business covers. There is a maximum length of 180 characters for the description, including spaces. Please avoid repeating the title of your listing.
Keywords When you choose your keywords you need to imagine what a user will type when searching for a site like yours. The more words that match, the higher your site will be ranked in the list of results. It is not necessary to include the word 'wedding' among your keywords unless this is specific to your web site (e.g. 'wedding insurance'), and you do not need to provide geographical keywords here - see 'Towns and Counties' below.
- All keywords should be lower case.
- Maximum of 220 characters, including spaces.
- If one of your keywords is a plural ending in 's' (i.e. 'cakes'), you do not need to use the singular.
- Do not repeat words - it will not make any difference to your ranking.
- Do not include irrelevant keywords.
- Do not use commas, or html tags.
Towns & Counties This information is used for keyword searches. Please provide the names of the towns and counties that are associated with your business. We suggest that you include the towns nearest to the location of your business and, if applicable, the counties that you supply to. Maximum of 150 characters, no commas.
Regions This information enables users to find your listing when performing a category search. Use the check boxes to select the regions of the UK to which you supply services. If your business covers the whole of the UK, please select each one. Here is a list of the regions and the counties that they cover:

WedSeek Categories
If you have already browsed through the WedSeek directory you may have noticed that there are three 'levels' of categories. The categories Wedding Attire > Bridalwear > Boutiques provide an example of this. Using this example, a web site submitted to the category 'Boutiques' will automatically appear in both of the higher level categories, namely 'Bridalwear' and 'Wedding Attire'. We therefore suggest that you make your selections from the lowest level categories, where appropriate.
Please do not select categories that do not apply to your web site.
